First play, “ALWAYS ON MY MIND” was commissioned by BBC Radio Scotland and broadcast October 2001. Other commissions include “NIGHT AND DAY” (United/ITV), “WHERE THE HEART IS” and an original series, SISTERS developed at Granada. Also, “TALKING LATIN” a second radio play, broadcast Feb 04, the pilot episode for a new series at Carnival TV called “FRIENDLY FIRE” and an original series for the BBC called “LIFE’S A BITCH”, 2 episodes written. In 2007 she was commissioned to write a 60 minute single film for "The Evening Plays" (BBC). In 2008 Carolyn wrote 3 eps for BBC series LARK RISE TO CANDLEFORD and was commissioned to develop single film for Mammoth Prods, "MUM CAN YOU LEND ME TWENTY QUID?". Recently she wrote the pilot ep for a series called HOLLYS INBOX for ITV Prods and is now developing 3 x 1hrs "WATCH ME DISAPPEAR" for the same company. She is also developing a series called "WITCHES" for BBC.
