Sophie has worked extensively in production roles for comedy shows before becoming Writers’ Assistant on MY FAMILY and other team-written comedies. This served as a great apprenticeship leading to Sophie writing episodes across three series of MY FAMILY and later working as script consultant. She has also worked as a script reader for SOHO THEATRE and SCRIPT. Original projects include a comedy drama THE YEAR OF THE BADGER and several short film scripts. She is currently collaborating with Tess Morris developing original comedy formats and children’s drama; these include COMING UP ROSES developing at Talkback and SECOND LIFE for BBC.
