Dublin based. Wrote and script-edited for RTE’s hit sit-com “UPWARDLY MOBILE” 1996-1998 and one series of original sit-com, THE CASSIDYS was broadcast on RTE in 2001. He has written for teen comedy dramas “CUSTER’S LAST STAND-UP”, (BBC/RTE) and “CAVEGIRL”, (Two Hats/BBC). Short film “HOMEBOY” won 1996 ‘Short Cuts’ Award and short film “CAKE” won TGA/Irish Film Board ‘Oscailt’ Award in 2001and IFTA – Best Short Film in 2003. Credits for childrens tv include “MY PARENTS ARE ALIENS”,“THE WORST WITCH”, “BARKING” (all Granada Kids) and “NORMAN NORMAL” (Magma),“INTERGALACTIC PATRICK” (Tiger Lily/CBBC) and “BEL’S BOYS” (Initial/Endemol). In 2007 Brian wrote for "THE CLINIC" for RTE and began development on two original projects for the same broadcaster, one through an Irish independent and TRUST through Initial/Endemol. Recent credits include more eps of THE CLINIC, a feature film "ALL FALL DOWN" now in late stage development with Samson Films in Dublin and an episode of "YOUNG LEONARDO" (Kindle/CBBC).
