Bevan’s latest short film, LOVE DOES GROW ON TREES, premiered at the Rushes Soho Shorts Festival, where it won the Best Newcomer award. Since then it has been nominated for a British Independent Film Award, screened to great acclaim at the London Film Festival and was a finalist in the Kodak Short Film Competition. The film is still touring the festival circuit and having already made waves in the UK and Europe, is soon to premiere in the US at the Tribeca Film Festival where it has already made New York Magazines Best Five Short Films at Tribeca, list.
Bevan was recently featured in an Arena Magazine article profiling ‘the next generation of filmmakers’ and also chosen for the British Film Institute Think-Shoot-Distribute programme for emerging talent. He has a BA in film and screenwriting and has worked as an EPK/behind the scenes director on such films as ENIGMA and Danny Boyles MILLIONS.
Bevan is currently developing several short and feature projects and teaching filmmaking for the Cineclub Young Filmmakers Network.
