Brian Lynch



Brian created and lead wrote two series of childrens’ sit-com ALL AT SEA for CBBC, which was nominated for ‘Best Comedy’ at Childrens’ BAFTAS 2014. Recently developed new series FOUR WORDS FOR LOVE in a writers room with Steve Bawol, Helion/RTE and co-developed with Peter McKenna, six part drama series NEMESIS for Red Planet Pictures.

Previous credits include multiple eps of THE CLINIC for RTE and also eps of RAW for Ecosse/RTE. Also, feature film ALL FALL DOWN developed with Samson Films. Brian wrote and script-edited for RTE’s hit sit-com UPWARDLY MOBILE (1996-1998) and his original sit-com, THE CASSIDYS was broadcast on RTE in 2001. He has written for teen comedy dramas CUSTER’S LAST STAND-UP, (BBC/RTE) and CAVEGIRL, (Two Hats/BBC). Short film HOMEBOY won 1996 ‘Short Cuts’ Award and short film CAKE won TGA/Irish Film Board ‘Oscailt’ Award in 2001and IFTA – Best Short Film in 2003.
