DAVID ALLISON - Fab 4 parter BOY MEETS GIRL is in the can starring Martin Freeman and Rachel Stirling. New series commission for ITV Prods is BUY TO LET.

CAROLYN BONNYMAN - has gone to script on first part of 3 part adaptation for ITV prods of HOLLYS INBOX.

STEPHEN BRADY - continues development on FLEX with Robert Jones & Richard Zadjllic for Touchpaper TV. Having polished off a TAGGART, next up is 2 hour WIRE IN THE BLOOD for Coastal.

ILARIA DELIA - is in post on her first short film, ANOTHER THING which she wrote and directed on new HD format Red. Her original series DRAGON LADIES is in development with Lime Pictures, first script commissioned.

ARIEL DORFMAN - UK premiere of PURGATORIO opened at the Arcola. Benedict Nightingale called it "intellectually alive, emotionally vital".

JULIE GEAREY - having completed 2 eps in the second series of SECRET DIARY OF A CALL GIRL has begun work on original series FASHION PHOTOGRAPHER for Tiger.

LISA GOLDMAN - continues her run of hits at Soho Theatre with PIRANHA HEIGHTS by Philip Ridley.The Times said "Goldmans highly charged production is relentlessly exciting, a disconcerting and superbly acted surreal image of insane inner-city life"

SOPHIE HETHERINGTON and TESS MORRIS - have bagged a commission for original sitcom SECOND LIFE from BBC Comedy to add to their slate.

GAVIN HOOD - is in post on WOLVERINE until May 09.

NICK LEATHER - is developing radio series COTTONOPOLIS for Red Productions. His commission for Liverpool Everyman MATCH is scheduled for production Spring 09

DOON MACKICHAN - will co-write sitcom JODIE in which she will also star, with writers Fay Rusling and Oriane Messina for Big Talk.

MARTIN MILLAR - following the huge success of the US publication of THE GOOD FAIRIES OF NEW YORK, LONELY WEREWOLF GIRL was published there this Spring to be followed by SUZY, LED ZEPPELIN AND ME. Both GOOD FAIRIES and WEREWOLF GIRL film rights are under option.

ANTHONY NEILSON - hard on the heels of fab Christmas show for the RSC at Soho, GOD IN RUINS, Anthony opens RELOCATED at the Royal Court on 6 June. He has been appointed Literary Associate of the RSC. He will also take part in National Theatres New Connections programme later this year.

PHILIP RALPH - verbatim play DEEP CUT has won Fringe First and Herald Angel Awards at Edinburgh and is sold out for its run at the Traverse.

AL SMITH - new play THE BIRD which forms half of a collaboration with Matt Hartley who has written The Bee is playing to 4 star reviews at Edinburgh.

SHELAGH STEPHENSON - THE LONG ROAD at Soho Theatre was a huge success. In addition to three other theatre commissions she will also write the first script of DRAGON LADIES this year for Lime Pictures.

POLLY TEALE - her revival of Shared Experience/National Theatre Production WAR AND PEACE wowed audiences for a second time. TEN TINY TOES written by Esther Wilson opens at Liverpool Everyman 13th June followed by MINE written by Polly, which opens at Warwick Arts Centre 29th Sept and comes into Hampstead 6th October.
