Tara is an emerging writer with a high hit rate of placing her entertaining, contemporary ideas executed with wit, brains and heart. She has developed projects with Blueprint/BBC3, The Forge, Red Planet, Wall to Wall, Firebird, Cosmopolitan, Two Brothers and most recently Further South. In 2026 Tara will write novel THE LISTENER for Eagle Eye/Penguin Books.

She is a Brighton-based novelist and screenwriter. She has lived all over the world, working as an editor, copy-writer and journalist, and dabbling in ghost-writing, social gaming and improv. After winning the BBC FastTrain Scotland Drama Competition, she secured a place on the BBC’s Continuing Drama Shadow Scheme.
