Before turning to writing high-end dramas about female disruptors, Joanna started her career in the world of visual storytelling at Mister Smith Entertainment working on Terrence Malick’s A HIDDEN LIFE, Max Minghella’s & Fred Berger’s TEEN SPIRIT and Apple TV+ Documentary THE ELEPHANT QUEEN. She is represented in the US by Writ-Large.

Joanna has also worked in Production & VFX on a variety of projects, including ENOLA HOLMES (Netflix), THE LAST DUEL (Disney) and INVASION S2 (Apple TV+).
