Recent commissions as a writer include a new adaptation of ALICE’S ADVENTURES IN WONDERLAND which Anthony  directed in 2016 at the Lyceum Edinburgh; an adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe’s THE TELL TALE HEART for the NT and an original low budget feature, PSYCHICS, which he will also direct for Emu Films/Film4.  He wrote the stage adaptation of THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE for Hammer Films/Sonia Friedman Prods, which premiered at Liverpool Playhouse in Dec 2015.  Other film & tv credits include: THE DEBT COLLECTOR (writer/director) – Winner of the Fipresci International Critics Award (Dragon Pictures/Film 4);  SPILSBURY (Stone City/BBC) and episodes of SPOOKS (writer). And a rewrite of THE LAST VOYAGE OF DEMETER for Hammer/Cross Creek Films.

Directing theatre credits include: THE BIG LIE (Latitude Festival), THE DRUNKS (Courtyard Theatre) both for the Royal Shakespeare Company; THE DEATH OF KLINGHOFFER – Herald Angel Award(Edinburgh International Festival/Scottish Opera)and in Autumn 2011, a major revival of MARAT/SADE for RSC.
